My name is Dennis Kelley, I’m the sole owner and mechanical designer at Kelley Machine Design. I began company operations in 2001 with the goal of providing clients in northwest Ohio with contract design services. Since then I’ve expanded my territory to include clients throughout the US, with many projects being built or installed internationally.
I began my career in 1979 working as a draftsman & estimator for a local fabricator. Throughout my early career I held a variety of positions at different companies, typically as a mechanical designer, mechanical project engineer, or engineering manager. Since my primary interest has always been mechanical machine design, I decided to start my own business with that as the primary focus.
Today I specialize in machine design using advanced 3D design software. I maintain my own licensed seat of Autodesk Product Design & Manufacturing Collection software which includes Inventor, AutoCAD, and Fusion 360.
